The Roaring Dark

The Roaring Dark is about solving mysteries. You may be locals pushed to solve a murder in a tiny ski town in 2006. You may be embedded Russian spies in 1983 near Langley, Virginia. You may be veterans of the first Great War, holding back the second by discovering fascist conspiracies in Berlin, 1929. You might be expeditioneers hired by an eccentric to find a mythical lost city. You may even be at the wrong place, at the wrong time, and bear the lonely weight of discovering an eldritch terror. Hunting information, discovering the truth. 

The Roaring Dark is a proudly "Forged in the Dark" system, building on the foundations of the Blades system for other styles of campaign. While Blades has a gang of scoundrels vying for power against other gangs, pulling off daring heists and expanding your claims in the crowded, haunted city of Doskvol, The Roaring Dark puts the players on the opposite side: a team of de-facto investigators, solving crimes, unraveling the claims of villains and criminals, and snipping the sordid web that grows every night.
